Sales Enablement Specialist (BRISBANE)
About Telair
Telair is an Australian-owned telecommunications provider delivering connectivity, voice, and managed network services to business customers across the country. We operate our own wholly-owned network with direct connectivity to all major carriers, giving us the flexibility to design solutions that genuinely fit our customers, not just the products our suppliers happen to sell.
We are growing, and we are deliberate about how we grow. Our values, which are Integrity Drives Us, Reliable by Design, We Lead with Care, People Power Us, Progress with Purpose, and Partners, Not Providers, describe how we actually operate, not how we’d like to look on a careers page. If you join us, you will see them in the work.
The Opportunity
We are scaling our sales team and need someone dedicated to making every Business Development Manager (BDM) consistently capable across our full product portfolio. This is a newly created role, reporting to the Sales Manager, and it exists because we have decided that sustained sales performance comes from systematic enablement, not from heroics on individual deals.
You will design and run the training, certification, solutions support, and sales-facing documentation that gets our BDMs from new hire to confident closer faster, and keeps the whole team sharp as products and pricing evolve. You’ll work closely with our Product Operations team to make sure what reps are trained on matches the current state of our products, and with our Customer Experience function to make sure what BDMs commit to at the point of sale is what we actually deliver afterwards.
What You’ll Do
-
Design and deliver onboarding programs that get new BDMs to productivity faster.
-
Build and run a structured certification framework covering our product portfolio, pricing models, and quoting processes.
-
Act as a first-line solutions resource for BDMs working on complex or non-standard deals.
-
Create and maintain sales playbooks, battle cards, objection-handling guides, and quick-reference materials.
-
Drive consistent adoption of Salesforce and our quoting tools across the sales team.
-
Partner with Product Operations, Sales Order Processing, and Customer Experience to close the loop between what we promise customers and what we deliver.
About You
Experience in the telecommunications industry is essential. The depth of product knowledge required to train BDMs well means we need someone who already understands telco, including carriers, products, and the broader landscape, from day one.
Beyond that, we are looking for:
-
3+ years in sales enablement, sales training, sales operations, or a BDM/AE role with strong enablement instincts.
-
Demonstrated experience designing and delivering training programs for sales teams.
-
Strong working knowledge of Salesforce; familiarity with CPQ or other quoting tools.
-
Excellent written and verbal communication. You can translate complex product and pricing logic into clear, usable content.
-
Highly organised; comfortable running multiple training and certification streams in parallel.
Background in technical sales, solutions consulting, or product training would be a bonus, as would experience supporting a rapidly scaling sales team in a B2B environment with a complex, configurable product portfolio.
What We Offer
-
A genuinely interesting product portfolio in an industry that is being reshaped by infrastructure rollouts, AI, and shifting carrier dynamics.
-
A growing sales team where this role has clear leverage and visible impact.
-
A leadership team that backs its people with trust, tools, and respect.
-
Competitive remuneration and a Brisbane-based office where the team actually works together.
How to Apply
Apply here through SEEK with your CV and a short cover note telling us about a sales training or enablement initiative you’ve owned and what changed as a result. We’re more interested in what you’ve actually built and the difference it made than in polished generic statements.
Telair is an equal opportunity employer. We welcome applications from candidates of all backgrounds.
